CERAMICS
The ceramic pieces below were fired with the Raku process.
Where the pieces are first bisque fired, then glazed and fired once
more at a temperature of about 2000 degrees F. The pieces are
quickly removed and placed in a metal container containing flammable material
such as leaves, saw dust, newspapers and sealed with a lid then cooled.
The resulting contained smoke creates an unpredictable effect on glaze and clay.
